Hagerty International, the classic car insurance specialist, will host their live Valuation Arena at the Scramble. Members of the Hagerty team will be on hand to inspect and photograph vehicles, swiftly providing the owner with a digital report and thus ensuring that your vehicles are properly valued and therefore properly insured.

Entry into Hagerty’s Valuation Arena is only available to people attending the Scramble at Bicester. The Valuation will cost £15, all of which will go charity, and each valuation will include a certificate and goody bag of classic extras from all participating partners. Owners are urged to bring as much information on their vehicle as possible for the valuation experts to inspect.

Please note that you must purchase an admission pass in addition to your Valuation Arena ticket to gain access to the Scramble.

What time do the gates open to the public?

08:30 - Bicester Heritage would like to ask all visitors to the Scramble to respect the neighbours and be aware of local traffic on arrival and departure of the event.

What time does the event close to the public?

2pm.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, advance passes only - we shall not be selling tickets on the gate for the Scramble.  Passes are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

How much are tickets?

Passes are per person and are available in three 'flights', with the first two flights offered at discounted prices. Book early to make the most of the discount passes before the Final Flight takes off at full price. The purchase price for each pass includes a 50p donation towards StarterMotor, a Bicester Heritage based charity with the sole intention of putting young enthusiasts in the driving seat. What is the deal for classic vehicles?

Visitors planning to arrive in a pre-1990 classic vehicle (which includes cars, motorcycles and military vehicles) will be directed to the display areas, post-1990 vehicles to the car park.

What is the deal for vehicle club members?

To register your car club for a display area (subject to availability) please contact ej@bicesterheritage.co.uk.  For car club members please contact your car club for registrations details and purchase a Club Pass.

Can I buy passes on the gate?

On this occasion, we will NOT be selling passes on the gate for our Scramble.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, all parking is free for pass (ticket) holders.

Do I need to buy a ticket for every person in my vehicle?

Yes, all adults need an individual pass. Children under 16 are free and do not require a pass (when accompanied by an adult ticket holder). Valuation Arena tickets need to be bought in addition to the Scramble entry pass.

How does the Hagerty Valuation Arena work?

There are a limited number of spaces available so you need to pre-book a timed slot via our website. The tickets are £15 each with all monies raised going to charity. At your allotted time you will need to take your vehicle to the Hagerty Valuation Arena where a team of experts will inspect and photograph vehicles, swiftly providing the owner with a digital report and thus ensuring that your vehicles are properly valued and therefore properly insured within 20 minutes. Further information can be provided by contacting the Hagerty team.  Please note this Valuation ticket is not an entry pass - drivers and all passengers aged 16 or over need individual admission passes.

Which entrances do vehicles use?

Vehicles will be directed by yellow event signs to the events gate on the Buckingham Road and the airfield gate on Skimmingdish Lane.  Please follow event signage.

May I fly in?

Which entrance do pedestrians use?

Pedestrians must use the main Bicester Heritage entrance on the Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane, with an On Foot Pass bought online in advance - there will be no pedestrian passes available on the day.

What can I expect to see at the event?

The Scramble is mainly an excuse for hundreds of classic vehicle enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a relaxed social gathering.  As well as enjoying the visiting classic cars, motorbikes and other vehicles, you can also glimpse inside the various specialist businesses now on site at Bicester Heritage, who will be opening their doors throughout.

What catering will be available?

There will be plenty of catering outlets on site, serving hot and cold drinks and a varied menu for breakfast and lunch, typically including bacon rolls, burgers, toasted sandwiches, as well as ice cream.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on their leads at all times. Please clean up after your dog, bins are provided on site and do remember that vehicles will be moving around and the airfield is active.

Is there any readmission?

No, sorry, there is no readmission if you leave the site during the event.

Do you provide passes for disabled visitor carers or assistants?

If you are disabled and require full-time assistance, we are happy to provide a free pass at the gate for your care assistant, partner or accompanying friend. In order to receive this free pass, please provide a copy of your most recent DLA or PIP letter showing your current entitlement as well as your blue badge, should you require car parking on site.

What disabled facilities are available?

There is a dedicated disabled parking area close to the event entrance. There is also a disabled toilet on site.

Are mobility vehicles available on site?

Yes, you are able to pre-book mobility scooters via Event Mobility who will provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show.  To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

Do you have ATM machines at Bicester Heritage?

No, but there are plenty nearby in surrounding Bicester and at neighbouring petrol stations and supermarkets. Don't forget to stop on your way to the Scramble!
