The Sunday Scramble will see the launch of a fresh section to the event; The Motor Market at Bicester Heritage. This unique concept will enable individuals wishing to sell their treasured pre-1990 vintage, classic or modern classic vehicle the opportunity to purchase a pitch and market their machine to an instant audience of thousands of like-minded motoring enthusiasts on the day. Those in the market can meet the owner, inspect the vehicle and purchase their next set of wheels in one swift transaction, improving the classic car buying experience.
The April Sunday Scramble has historically been the largest and most exciting Scramble to date, held on the FBHVC’s national Drive it Day the visiting crowd stretches well in to the thousands, as people are encouraged to free their historic vehicles from winter storage and take them out for a blast. Bicester Heritage’s beautiful former WW2 RAF site will be open to all Sunday Scramble visitors, giving the opportunity for the public to see the best preserved Bomber Training Station in the UK in its new role as the first business campus dedicated to historic motoring and aviation. The site is constantly evolving as restoration works to the unique buildings progress and historic motoring specialists move in to their new premises.
