10am – Bicester Heritage would like to ask all visitors to the Super Scramble to respect the neighbours and be aware of local traffic on arrival and departure of the event.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, advance tickets only – we shall not be selling tickets on the gate for the Super Scramble.  Tickets are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

How much are tickets?

Second release adult tickets (age 16 or over) are £20 per person (plus a booking service charge). Children under 16 are free and do not require a ticket (when accompanied by an adult ticket holder).

What is the deal for classic vehicles?

Visitors planning to arrive in a pre-1990 classic vehicle (which includes cars, motorcycles and military vehicles) can benefit from our Classic discount offer of £10 per person in our first release ticket sales (plus a booking service charge), please note you will be asked to enter details of your classic vehicle when you select this ticket option. First release tickets are now no longer available.

What is the deal for vehicle club members?

Members of vehicle clubs can benefit from our Club discount offer of £10 per person in our first release ticket sales (plus a booking service charge) provided their club representative has registered the club attendance with us in advance. Can I buy tickets on the gate?

On this occasion, we will NOT be selling tickets on the gate for our Super Scramble.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, all parking is free for ticket holders.

Do I need to buy a ticket for every person in my vehicle?

Yes, all adults need an individual ticket. Children under 16 are free and do not require a ticket (when accompanied by an adult ticket holder). Valuation Arena tickets need to be bought in addition to the Super Scramble entry ticket.

Why have the ticket prices increased for the Super Scramble?

The Super Scramble will offer more content than ever before including track activity, increased aerial fly-ins, an autojumble and the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal to incredible car collections.  We hope you will feel the ticket price is a bargain. The ticket price ensures that we can continue to deliver Scramble events to the same high standard whilst protecting our trademark informal atmosphere.

How does the Hagerty Valuation Arena work?

There are a limited number of spaces available so you need to pre-book a timed slot via our website. The tickets are £15 each with all monies raised going to charity. At your allotted time you will need to take your vehicle to the Hagerty Valuation Arena where a team of experts will inspect the vehicle, take photographs of the vehicle and give you a printed valuation within 15 minutes.  Further information can be provided by contacting the Hagerty team.  Please note this Valuation ticket is not an entry ticket – drivers and all passengers aged 16 or over need individual admission tickets.

Which entrances do vehicles use?

Vehicles will be directed by yellow event signs to the events gate on the Buckingham Road and the airfield gate on Skimmingdish Lane.  Please follow event signage.

May I fly in?

Bicester Heritage will be inviting a limited number of vintage aircraft to attend the event and provide a static display for our guests enjoyment.  We have a limited number of spaces available. Bicester Heritage airfield is strictly PPR please see attachment for details: Visiting Aircraft Instructions.  If you would like to arrive via vintage aircraft and form part of our static display throughout the duration of the event please contact Historic Promotions on 01869 247888 or

Which entrance do pedestrians use?

Pedestrians must use the main Bicester Heritage entrance on the Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane, with a ticket bought online in advance – there will be no pedestrian tickets available on the day.

What can I expect to see at the event?

The Super Scramble will showcase the best in vintage and classic vehicles, displaying rarely seen together collections of cars, carefully selected for display on the historic Technical Site.  Throughout the event these invited vehicles will enjoy spirited laps around the test-track so be ready for the sights, smells and noise of a bygone era.  Guests are encouraged to arrive in vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles with pre’90 vehicles enjoying forward parking on the airfield.  As well as enjoying the visiting classic cars, motorbikes and other vehicles, you can also glimpse inside the various specialist businesses now on site at Bicester Heritage, who will be opening their doors throughout.  For the first time at Bicester Heritage, the 1936 Grade II listed C-type hangar will play host to a market space for retail, trade, stallholders and an autojumble.  Please see below for Autojumble details.  The skies above the airfield will be alive with vintage aircraft landing and creating a static display all day as well as Tiger Moth experience flights being available on the day.

What catering will be available?

There will be plenty of catering outlets on site, serving hot and cold drinks and a varied menu for breakfast and lunch, typically including bacon rolls, hog roast, burgers, toasted sandwiches, as well as ice cream.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on their leads at all times. Please clean up after your dog, bins are provided on site and do remember that vehicles will be moving around and the airfield is active.

Is there any readmission?

No, sorry, there is no readmission if you leave the site during the event.

Do you provide tickets for disabled visitor carers or assistants?

If you are disabled and require full-time assistance, we are happy to provide a free ticket at the gate for your care assistant, partner or accompanying friend. In order to receive this free ticket, please provide a copy of your most recent DLA or PIP letter showing your current entitlement as well as your blue badge, should you require car parking on site.

What disabled facilities are available?

There is a dedicated disabled parking area close to the event entrance. There is also a disabled toilet on site.

Are mobility vehicles available on site?

Yes, you are able to pre-book mobility scooters via Event Mobility who will provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show.  To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

Do you have ATM machines at Bicester Heritage?

No, but there are plenty nearby in surrounding Bicester and at neighbouring petrol stations and supermarkets. Don’t forget to stop on your way to the Scramble!
