Historic Vehicle Restoration Apprenticeship moves to Bicester Heritage

We are delighted to announce that Activate Learning and Banbury and Bicester College launched their new workshop for the UK’s first accredited Historic Vehicle Restoration Apprenticeship scheme at Bicester Heritage earlier today.

Building 102, the former RAF Engine Test House will now be home to the apprentices and their restoration projects, set within a fitting working environment at Bicester Heritage.

Banbury and Bicester College, in conjunction with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, offers a variety of routes in to the vehicle restoration industry, with the desire to meet the UK skills shortage by providing learned apprentices that can absorb the key skills needed to maintain historic cars in the future.
