Our first Sunday Brunch Scramble

Bicester Heritage, formerly RAF Bicester, opened its gates for the first time in 57 years on Sunday 22nd June for a Sunday Brunch Scramble. We welcomed over 500 people on site. Guests enjoyed looking around the site, meeting tenants, watching the fly-in by numerous vintage aircraft including a DeHavilland Rapide.

We were also delighted to be able to have a flypast organised by The Old Flying Machine company based at Duxford to include a P51 Mustang. The Bicester 0207 ATC squadron brought a sense of occasion to the proceedings with their marching band parading down the main avenue into the Motor Transport Yard and presenting the original scramble bell back to the site.
