Banbury and Bicester College provides apprenticeships, full-time programmes and leisure courses in classic vehicle maintenance and restoration. Operating from the former Engine Test House at Bicester Heritage, the College offers enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to learn and develop their skills whilst surrounded by an active ecosystem of industry leading experts.
The ground-breaking apprenticeship scheme achieved national accreditation in 2014 as a joint venture between Activate Learning, The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs and Bicester Heritage. The apprenticeship now has in excess of sixty students and is the first course of its type to provide a credible pathway for enthusiasts to learn the key skills required for a career in the historic motorcar restoration and engineering sector.
