Please read the following information relating to pricing and pass types before clicking the green button to purchase yours:

  • We have updated our Scramble passes to be one per person, for all types of visitor.
  • Passes are only available in advance and will not be offered for sale on the gate on the day of the event.
  • Children under 16 years old may visit free of charge and do require a ticket.



  • This event has been designed to be COVID compliant, set outdoors within plenty of space, with a reduced visitor attendance number and socially distanced queuing systems in place.
  • Passes will be scanned through your car windows, please ensure that all attendees have their passes ready at the ticket check, either on their phone or printed on paper.
  • We recommend that you wear a face covering, although they are no longer mandatory at events.

Parking for all vehicles is free, traffic management systems and marshals will be in action on the day. If arriving by car, you will be directed to the relevant parking areas.

What time do the gates open to the public?

09:00 - Bicester Heritage would like to ask all visitors to the Scramble to respect the neighbours and be aware of local traffic on arrival and departure of the event.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, advance Passes only - we shall not be selling tickets at the gate for the Scramble. Passes are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

How much are tickets?

Passes are £15.10 per person plus a booking fee. Please book early to avoid disappointment. The purchase price for each Pass includes a 50p donation towards StarterMotor, a Bicester Heritage based charity with the sole intention of putting young enthusiasts in the driving seat. What is the deal for classic vehicles?

Visitors planning to arrive in a pre-1990 classic vehicle (which includes cars, motorcycles and military vehicles) will be directed to the forward parking display areas, post-1990 vehicles to the car park. If you are in a post-1990 vehicle and try to access the pre-1990 display areas, you will be politely asked to turn around.

What is the deal for vehicle club members?

Our new Scramble format means that with reduced capacity for visitors, we are not arranging specific club parking areas in October.

Can I buy passes on the gate?

On this occasion, we will NOT be selling passes at the gate for our Scramble.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, all parking is free for Pass (ticket) holders.

Do I need to buy a pass for every person in my vehicle?

Yes, everyone needs an individual Pass. Children under 16 are free but do require a pass (when accompanied by an adult ticket holder).

Which entrances do vehicles use?

Vehicles will be directed by yellow event signs to the gates on Buckingham Road and Skimmingdish Lane.  Please follow the event signage.

May I fly in?

If you would like to arrive via aircraft please register here.

Which entrance do pedestrians use?

Pedestrians must use the main Bicester Heritage entrance on Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane, with a Pass bought online in advance - there will be no pedestrian Passes available on the day.

What can I expect to see at the event?

The Scramble is an opportunity for hundreds of classic vehicle enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a relaxed gathering, outdoors with plenty of space and fresh air.  As well as enjoying the visiting classic cars, motorbikes and other vehicles, you can also glimpse inside the 40+ specialist businesses now based at Bicester Heritage, who will be opening their doors throughout.

What catering will be available?

There will be plenty of catering outlets on site, serving hot and cold drinks and a varied menu for breakfast and lunch, typically including bacon rolls, burgers and toasted sandwiches.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on their leads at all times. Please clean up after your dog, bins are provided on site and do remember that vehicles will be moving around and the airfield is active.

Is there any readmission?

No, sorry, there is no readmission if you leave the site during the event.

Do you provide passes for disabled visitor carers or assistants?

If you are disabled and require full-time assistance, we are happy to provide a free pass at the gate for your care assistant, partner or accompanying friend. In order to receive this free pass, please provide a copy of your most recent DLA or PIP letter showing your current entitlement as well as your blue badge, should you require car parking on site.

What disabled facilities are available?

There is a dedicated disabled parking area close to the event entrance. There is also a disabled toilet on site.

Are mobility vehicles available on site?

Yes, you are able to pre-book mobility scooters via Event Mobility who will provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors at the show.  To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

Do you have ATM machines at Bicester Heritage?

Sadly not, but there are plenty nearby in surrounding Bicester and at neighbouring petrol stations and supermarkets. Don't forget to stop on your way to the Scramble!
